Essential Duties &Responsibilities :
- Mentor / Coach Jr level Process Engineers andtechnicians.
- Assist Leading team inmanagements absence.
- Lead process technologytransfers from Process Engineering department to Manufacturingdepartment
- Provide operator training andvalidate competency to perform requiredtasks
- Develop robust production processes usingDesign of Experiments (DOEs)
- Estimatemanufacturing costs determine time standards and makerecommendations for tooling and process requirements of new andexisting products
- Establish validation andverification criteria for new processes &products
- Create and revise documentationdetailing production processes
- Take the lead toprovide engineering support to facilitate productionprocesses
- Take an active role in thetroubleshooting of problems in assembly areas working toward rootcause and corrective action (RCCA)processes
- Stay abreast of best practices andtechnologies and provide input on new processes to enhance orexpand capabilities
- Interface with DesignEngineering team regarding process capabilities materials andreview new products to ensure they meet Design for Manufacturing(DFM) criteria
- Identify facilitate andprioritize opportunities for processimprovements
OtherDuties & Responsibilities :
- Perform or assist with any operations asrequired to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and qualityrequirements.
- Maintain a safe work and cleanwork area comply with all safety procedures and equipment operatingrules.
- Follow clean room and otherenvironmental precautions and procedures asrequired.
- Participate in any variety ofmeetings and work groups to integrate cross functional activitiescommunicate issues obtain approvals resolve problems and maintainspecified level of knowledge pertaining to new developmentsrequirements and policies.
- Comply with allquality and ITAR policies practices andprocedures.
- Participate in proactive teamefforts to achieve departmental and companygoals.
- Contribute to building a positive teamspirit.
- Communicate effectively with all levelsof employees.
- Protect confidential informationby not communicating disclosing to or using for benefit of 3rdparties.
- Maintain the highest degree of honestyand integrity at all times.
- Perform otherrelated duties as assigned.
