Web Specialist, Digital Marketing
POSITION OVERVIEW
Milliken is seeking a Web Specialist to join the Digital Team within Milliken Marketing Services. Based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Web Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality, engaging, and accurate content for the website within our SiteCore and WordPress frameworks under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager.
We believe in collaboration and are looking for a creative problem solver with a sense of urgency and a focus on the needs of our internal and external customers.
This role requires strong collaboration with other members of the Digital Team, and will also require broad collaboration with our business stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on tickets assigned in Asana, communicate with the requester, and make the edits in SiteCore and WordPress.
- Make updates and new development to news, blogs and products.
- Update components on pages including image and copy.
- Update content on WordPress sites
- Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and adheres to SEO best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
- HTML
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Responsive design (Bootstrap)
The successful candidate will have strengths in the following :
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with website analytics.
- Familiarity with content management systems, including SiteCore CMS, WordPress and basic HTML.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana.
