Principal Responsibilities :
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching our Waverunners swim team and our pre-swim team program under the supervision of the Head Coach
- Present on deck at practices and works with specific age groups to develop swimmers competitive skills
- Practices run Mondays through Thursdays, with additional Sunday meets throughout the season
- Attends all dual meets and league championships
- Assists in overseeing individual and team entries for swim meets
- Must be available to coach the spring clinic session as well
- Helps build team spirit
- Monitor and enhance performance while motivating swimmers
- Part-Time, 15-20 hours / week
Minimum Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience preferred
- Experience coaching ages 5-18
- Passionate about swimming
- Positive and flexible with the ability to create a winning team environment
- Possess exceptional leadership qualities
- Customer service oriented and result driven
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- American Red Cross Lifeguard / First Aid / CPR / AED required
- Safety Training for Swim Coaches required
- Experience with Team Manager and Meet Manager preferred
- USA Swimming experience preferred
