Digital Solutions Next Gen Professional Services Engineer Qualifications :

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties :

Responsible for system implementation of Weatherford Software Solutions to Oil and Gas customers. In addition, help generate business to increase revenues through sales of Weatherford products and services

• Install, Upgrade, Integrate, and Configure SCADA and Production Optimization Systems.
• Build Screens, Workflows, and Reports to support customer operations and SCADA hardware.
• Develop and provide custom solutions, utilities, and system integration using scripts, procedural documentation, and relevant reports.
• Participate in software testing, software review, and implementation testing during the release cycle.
• Gain a firm understanding of Production Optimization Products and how it works from the user's Perspective.
• Learn how to support troubleshooting of field devices and SCADA communication issues.
• Learn to deploy ML / AI, BI dashboards, and other extended solutions within Weatherford products.
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications

The position of Next Gen Engineer is a challenging yet very rewarding and highly respected position to have in the oil and gas industry and Digital solutions.

An undergraduate degree acquired within 2023 / 2025 from an Engineering program is essential. Effective English written and oral communication skills are a must, as are basic computer and problem-solving skills.

SPECIFIC NEXTGEN REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science / Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation
• Graduation Year : 2023-2025.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• A strong work ethic and leadership potential.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Requires travel both domestically and internationally and stays away from home.
