JOB DESCRIPTION
Horizontal Talent is working with a collaborative company to recruit a contract Project Lead in Maplewood. This hybrid Sr.
IT Project Lead role comes with an attractive pay rate for your dedication.
The Sr. IT Project Lead will be responsible for providing global procurement support to the company and serving as a program manager.
You'll help execute the company's Labeling and Rebranding initiative, which stems from its separation from the client. You can also expect to work independently and consult with stakeholders, cross-functional co-workers, and the supervisor for assistance.
During your first few weeks in this Procurement Analyst role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following :
- Manage a portfolio of projects
- Maintain clear communication channels with team members and stakeholders
- Use project management tools to share timelines, progress, and updates
- Foster collaborative relationships with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance regularly to ensure alignment
We are looking for an IT Project Lead candidate with a bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and minimum of five years of combined sourcing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, engineering and / or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Additional qualifications include :
- Being well versed in MS Excel - reports, reviewing data, etc
- Process-orientated with excellent attention to detail
- Procurement, supply chain, and logistics experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Project management training, experience, and aptitude
