Job Summary
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist who enjoys the intricacy of building a therapeutic alliance with adult clients, who is inspired to implement creative interventions, and who can work independently with integrity.
The ideal practitioner utilizes a theoretical framework that includes trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions.
In addition, the ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to complete exceptional paperwork promptly. Preference is made to currently EMDRIA Certified EMDR practitioners.
The agency is willing to pay for training with a signed contract for a two-year commitment to this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for adult individuals.
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a similar field
- Current Good Standing New Mexico clinical license
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and Timely
