Position Title : Contract Buyer
Location : Niskayuna, NY
End Date : 6 months from start date
Hybrid - 3 day onsite - 2 day WFH (During initial training will be mainly onsite)
40 hours 8AM-5PM

Role Summary / Purpose :
Responsible for collaborating with suppliers and internal customers to provide sourced goods and services while maintaining compliance.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Ensure the timely turnaround of assigned requisitions into Purchase Orders
- Proactive supplier management (supplier adds, modifications etc..) as required.
- Investigate and resolve accounts payable issues as required.
- Provide support and training to internal customers on HTIC's Sourcing processes and systems.
- Maintain and work to meet internal HTIC Sourcing metrics on MR processing turnaround time, cost out and others as needed.
- Ensure compliance on Government funded projects to include all required reporting and process activities.
- All other projects, duties as assigned

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience with Oracle Purchasing.
The hourly rate for this position is between $ 35.00 per hour.
