JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description

- Steady Hours & Weekends Off : 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days (5 : 45 am to 4 : 15 pm) with possible overtime on Fridays (8 am to 12 pm)
- Competitive Pay : $24.00 per hour or more, with pay based on your experience

What You'll Do as a MIG Welder :
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment for aluminum
- Read blueprints and welding procedures
- Prepare aluminum surfaces for welding
- Perform high-quality MIG welding of aluminum alloys using various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
- Inspect welds and troubleshoot welding equipment
- Assist with additional tasks like material handling and metal cutting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
- Requires ability to pass a welding test!
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might :
- Have MIG welding experience, with a focus on aluminum (experience with TIG welding or willingness to learn is a plus)
- Be able to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment
- Have a strong understanding of welding principles and safety procedures
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to top-notch quality
- Have excellent manual dexterity and stamina for working in different positions
- Must have your own PPE (welding helmet, gloves, and apron)
