We are in search of a proficient General Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of managing the daily operations of a small manufacturing plant, encompassing areas such as Engineering, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Sales.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth running and efficiency
- Manage multiple departments including Engineering, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Sales
- Implement and manage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions such as Epicor for efficient operations
- Drive change management initiatives to improve processes and bring in new ideas
- Handle Supply Chain Management to ensure timely production and delivery of products
- Oversee the warehouse management to ensure efficient storage and dispatch of products
- Manage procurement processes to ensure the availability of necessary resources for production
- Leverage your experience in metal fabrication in managing production processes
- Implement strategies for customer service management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive sales efforts and strategies to boost revenue.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role such as Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
- Proven knowledge and experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) including Epicor and other ERP solutions.
- Demonstrated skills in Supply Chain Management, including procurement and warehouse management.
- Previous experience in Change Management, with the ability to implement and drive change within an organization.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management, including the implementation and management of warehouse management systems.
- Experience with Procurement processes and strategies, including vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and achieve operational goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
