Description

The Department of OBGYN is seeking to hire a full time Residency Program Coordinator to provide programmatic support for all accredited educational training programs.

The Residency Program Coordinator serves various roles in the Medical Education office, providing services to 3 residency training programs in the Departments of OB / GYN, Urology, and Head & Neck Surgery and over 86 trainees (MD interns, residents), spanning training sites at UCLA and all major affiliates (Santa Monica -UCLA, Olive View UCLA, VA, Harbor, Kaiser, Center for Fetal Medicine, Southern California Reproductive Center, Planned Parenthood ).

In this role you will partner with faculty in the operational and financial management of the program(s) and / or initiative(s) to ensure an optimal training environment for learners.

You'll be responsible for a wide range of programmatic and operational activities including but not limited to designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and supporting an education program(s) in compliance with organizational objectives and requirements.

You'll also support learners, program directors and program leadership in areas such as teaching and learning activities, rotation, clinic, and call scheduling, core competencies, assessment and evaluations.

Lastly, you will coordinate all activities associated with ongoing administration of the education program(s) and / or initiative(s).

Pay Range : $32.76 - $49.65 hourly

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related and / or equivalent experience / training
  • 1+ years’ experience coordinating an educational program(s) in an academic medical center or other relevant experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and web-based applications
  • Presents and expresses ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ACGME accreditation process and institutional requirements
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of graduate medical education programs
  • Comprehensive understanding of UCLA policy and procedures
