Job Title : IS Project Manager II
Location : Philadelphia, PA (80% remote and 20% Onsite)
Duration : 6+ Months
80% remote, onsite expectations 1-4x a month, local candidates only. Looking for candidates with solid background in project management with experience in infrastructure projects.
PMP not required. Temp only, but extension highly likely.
Job Summary :
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of and proficiency in PMI’s project management methodology and practices.
- Manages projects of average complexity and risk.
- Exhibits advanced skills in estimating and the use of project management tools.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge in creating detailed documentation, including project charters, work plans and budgets.
- Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications with project staff, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Coaches other team members.
- Manages project teams of 4 to 8 team members.
- Able to work independently.
Job Responsibilities :
The responsibilities of a Project Manager II encompass identical responsibilities as a Project Manager I but, with a greater degree of complexity.
A Project Manager II also :
- Manages all operational and tactical aspects of assigned projects (may include installation of application modules)
- Ensures timely delivery of all project objectives and documentation.
- Communicates relevant project plans and alternatives, including risk analyses and mitigation strategies, to project team, sponsor(s), and stakeholders.
- Prepares written documentation in support of projects.
- Monitors project budgets
- Manages project work plans.
- Oversees vendor resources and raises risks and issues to sponsor(s) as appropriate
- Issues Project Status Reports.
- Coaches Project Coordinators and Analysts.
- Is a champion of Client project management methodology.
Information Security Requirements :
Understand and comply with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures and standards.
Support the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Hospital Technology Resources that process, transmit, or store Client information.
Support all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations that govern the use and disclosure of patient, financial, or other confidential information.
