Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Review and interpret grant agreements and contracts.
- Set up and maintain grant accounts in the financial system.
- Monitor grant expenditures to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to grantors in accordance with grant guidelines.
- Generate internal reports to track grant spending and budget variances.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits related to grants.
- Perform general ledger accounting duties related to grants, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate coding of all grant-related transactions.
- Reconcile grant accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in grant accounting, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
