Position Summary One temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant position in Office of Information Technology (OIT) at the Stanislaus State - Stockton Campus.
Start Date Position available on or after April 10, 2023 and ending on or before May 31, 2023. Possibility of reappointment into Summer Term and AY 2023-2024 based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Job Description / Duties Duties include but are not limited to :
Assist with technology and system related support to university students, faculty and staff.Assist in providing on-site, tier 1 assistance for computer, printer, and classroom technology issues.
Assist with tier 2 tasks and issues, with professional staff supervision.Assist with preparing and submitting work order requests using problem ticketing module.
Assist in acting as a liaison and interface between faculty, staff, and information systems resources staff.Ensure that campus computer, lab, and network policies / practices are observed.
Perform other related duties or projects as assigned. Qualifications

Demonstrates customer service skills, enthusiasm, and motivation.Demonstrates experience and working knowledge in Windows and / or MacOS, Microsoft Office / Office365, Internet Browsers, and general knowledge and function of e-mail.
Demonstrates experience in Troubleshooting information systems and web-based systems.Demonstrates knowledge of myStanState Dashboard, Canvas, university e-mail, and OneDrive / Teams.
Demonstrates ability to learn campus systems and policies / practices.Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively and calmly with university students, faculty, and staff during stressful situations.
Demonstrates ability to explain technical terms in a non-technical manner.Demonstrates dependability.
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall / Spring units. Special Conditions
