The position's headquarters is in Broward County, Florida.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serves as a resource in the development of musculoskeletal service line relationships with hospital partners.
- Provides analysis of regional (site-specific) quality metrics.
- Assists in provider hospital on-boarding, training, and education
- Support educational needs of Facility Leaders and clinical staff
- Collaborates with on-site health system staff and HOPCo leadership as necessary.
- Prepare and plan the Clinical Consensus meetings
- Assists the operational teams with clinical care analysis and chart reviews
- Address physician partner concerns and problems related to clinical services; actively work to maintain and improve relationships with physician partners
- Support the implementation of Quality initiatives and monitor implementation efforts
- Assists in the analysis of clinical data and makes recommendations to improve clinical performance
- Monitor quality data and patient satisfaction data for each assigned Center; identify areas for improvement. Assist in development and implementation of improvement strategies
- Understand the partners, the practices, and the markets in sufficient depth to bring value to partners by participating in Center business planning processes as it relates to Clinical Services
- Communicate often, meet in person outside Board meetings, query satisfaction levels, and work closely with all partners (not just board members) exchanging ideas and planning for the future
- Participate in development and deployment of Best Practices
- Critical analysis of current medical literature as it relates to informing clinical protocols. Knowledge of national guidelines and standards of care.
EDUCATION
Graduate of AMA accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program Required.
EXPERIENCE
- Must have at least 5-7 years’ experience in MSK / Spine. Some inpatient and intra-operative experience preferred.
- Exposure and interest in process improvement or leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
Current state PA license, certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, or State RN and NP license, National Nurse Practitioner Certification with RNFA Certification and / or First Assistant Experience
