Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Behavioral Health Technician located in Minneapolis, MN. The Behavioral Health Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to behavior analysis, applied behavior analysis, communication, and behavioral intervention.
They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals and families in need.
Qualifications
- Skills in behavior analysis, applied behavior analysis, and behavioral intervention
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families
- Knowledge in psychology and related fields
- Experience working with individuals with Autism and related disorders is highly desirable
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Work with individual children or small groups of children to reinforce new skills initially introduced throughout the duration of the therapy session
- Assist with critical daily activities such as transition times, mealtimes, and toileting / diapering
- Continuously monitor children to ensure safety at all times
- Complete all necessary documentation for sessions including data collection is completed in Central Reach
- Help to maintain a clean and organized learning environment
