This role involves setting up tooling and downstream equipment, starting production lines, and supporting extrusion operations under the guidance of the Team Leader or Supervisor.
We have multiple shift times available to meet your work-life balance needs; choose the one that works best for you!
Pay Rate : $18-$20 per hour
Shifts Available :
- A Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM
- B Shift : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
- C Shift : 10 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM
- Mid Shift : 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM
Essential Function :
- Set up and shut down extrusion machines.
- Address quality issues when operators are unable to do so.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure high standards.
- Handle materials for extrusion lines, assist operators, dispose of scrap, and operate lines as needed.
- Adjust in-line production to correct errors.
- Calculate and document daily run times for extrusion orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements : A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with basic math and measuring skills, and 1-2 years of experience in extrusion or manufacturing.
Candidates must be able to read instructions, utilize measuring tools, operate a forklift, and handle warehouse equipment.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, and proactive in adhering to safety regulations. Must be flexible with overtime, have reliable transportation, and be able to stand for 8-12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
The role involves exposure to uncontrolled temperatures, loud noises, and dust; safety glasses will be provided.
