We are seeking an experienced Senior Recognition Program Manager to join our Benefits team at Blue Origin. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of space exploration by leading all aspects of Blue's recognition programs.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be important in supporting our vision.

Responsibilities :

Serve as Senior Recognition Program Manager for the Benefits Team with responsibilities to include, but not limited to :

Program Ownership and Compliance

  • Design, develop, and maintain a recognition program that fuels company culture and drives employee performance by activating Blue Origin values and priorities, ensuring that the program supports business objectives and meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on recognition programs, in collaboration with Finance and HR leadership, around recognition program policy and administration.
  • Research competitive recognition programs of other industry leaders to ensure Blue’s recognition program creates a workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of recognition program across all Blue locations.

Operations and Administration

  • Oversee the administration of recognition processes and practices, including communications, promotion, recognition items, budget, tracking, program policy, and program objectives.
  • Serve as recognition Product Manager for Workday system enhancements and improvements.
  • Lead new program launches, coordinating with key stakeholders and internal comms team.
  • Develop and maintain recognition resources, trainings, educational material, and communications for employees and managers.

Conducts manager and HRBP training on role specific recognition responsibilities.

Serve as the point of escalation for recognition matters. Resolve raised issues with urgency.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Establish measurement of and then uses recognition program data and trends and employee feedback for intervention and recommendations for program improvements.
  • Use reporting to track and report in alignment with Blue culture and business goals.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate regular operational metrics for recognition program to evaluate program effectiveness, performance, usage, and equity.

Vendor Management

Participate in vendor RFP’s, selection, negotiation, and annual renewal, in collaboration with Sr. Manager, Benefits.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience administering recognition programs.
  • Experience leading recognition program development in Workday or equivalent HR system and processes and an understanding of the downstream impact of transactions on pay, and other areas.
  • Experience with HR program management, project management, and case management tools and technology.
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to delivering results.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle small and large projects with a diversity of internal and external customers.

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $134,609-$188,451

Other site ranges may differ

Benefits

Benefits include : Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.

Paid Time Off : Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus : Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
