Medical Collection Specialist with Second Language Skills - Medical Billing & Coding

The successful applicant will obtain reimbursement from international patients and insurance companies for outstanding hospital invoices.
Full training is given. Flexible work schedule allowing remote and in-office work. Excellent prospects for growth. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.

Job Duties :
- Collecting medical invoices from insurance companies and patients who are international visitors to the USA.
- Make outbound calls and send written correspondence to insurance / patients.
- Use industry knowledge to negotiate quick payments and higher settlements with both insurers and patients (full training will be given).
- Obtain payments from uninsured patients.
- Develop relationships with international insurance companies to resolve invoices successfully.
- Ensure that all account activity is accurately maintained on a database.
- Comply with all relevant legislation such as HIPAA, FDCPA, etc.
- Handle incoming emails / telephone calls from clients and other vendors.
Skills / Qualifications Needed :
- Excellent written / spoken English and Spanish.
- Good understanding of different cultures and geography outside of the USA.
- Tolerant, courteous, and excellent customer service / telephone skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn, as full training will be given.
- Ability to adhere to industry guidelines while still achieving individual targets, HIPAA, and FDCPA.
- Target-oriented.
- Basic salary estimated earnings between min $45,760.00 to $70,000.00 depending on experience and ability. Salary negotiable.
