Trueline's client, a multi-unit restaurant chain with locations across California, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, and Texas, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.

What You'll Do as the Accounting Manager :
Supervise and mentor accounting staff and team members
Manage the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and report preparation
Improve system efficiencies and business practices
Collaborate with external auditors and tax accountants to ensure compliance
Prepare financial statements and reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Maintain inventory and cost control procedures
Oversee company-wide consolidation process
Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax filings
Work closely with Operations to assist with accounting needs
Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation
Support internal management reporting
You'll Succeed as the Accounting Manager if you Have :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and / or Finance
5+ years of corporate accounting experience, including full cycle accounting
3+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
In-depth understanding of US GAAP
Experience in multi-unit restaurants and / or retail (preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Ability to execute deadline-driven processes in a fast-paced environment
Leadership capabilities and a proactive, results-driven approach
High level of integrity and flexibility
