About the role
There is an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team, who will implement delivery of large scale Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) projects to Ocados customers and will be accountable for the following :
Project Management of projects from the pre-deal to ready for execution phases including :
- Scope definition and solution development
- Finalising solution design across hardware and software
- Leading OIAs relationship with customers to ensure alignment and assured outcomes
- Coordination of product development teams as required based on the project scope
- Engagement, alignment and handover to regional project delivery teams
About you
Project leadership experience
- Building effective relationships at all levels of the business.
- Assuming ownership of the project and focuses, single-mindedly on its successful delivery, inspiring project teams to follow their lead
- Customer-facing project management including commercial and contractual awareness
- Experience working on CAPEX projects (ideally within engineering / logistics / manufacturing / construction / technology)
Skills
- A highly analytical and logical approach to work
- Effective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the business and with clients
- Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload, ensuring all given deadlines are met
- Ability to read situations and understand commercial and contractual impact
- Ability to multitask and manage a number of projects and responsibilities at the same time
- Ability to understand and challenge expert opinions
Preferred
Subject matter expertise (to include some of the following)
- MHE including design principles, knowledge of competitor systems
- Software
