The Goddard School of Cumming is seeking a motivated and caring Preschool Assistant Teacher. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first.
You'll support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging programs, managing the classroom and ensuring a safe, stimulating environment.

No Nights or Weekends!!!
Assistant Preschool Teacher Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate preschool activities and lesson plans
- Support childrens social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
- Supervise and provide support to children

Qualifications :
- High school diploma required
- At least 6 months previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Works productively without supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
