We are looking for a highly motivated Executive Assistant to provide support to the Director of Kennecott Utah Copper and Senior Leadership team.
This role will ensure company commitments and objectives are accomplished, operations run efficiently, maintains and refines processes.
You will also serve as a liaison between the Managing Director and other departments, clients, and external partners, fostering strong professional relationships and ensuring effective communication.
Reporting to the Managing Director Kennecott Utah Copper, and working in a collaborative community, exciting environment, and you will be :
- Coordinating complex scheduling and extensive calendar management
- Planning large-scale events, hosting senior-level internal and external stakeholders
- Creating a community of positive support and collaboration within your various work groups while working within multiple time zones
- Provides or lead a full range of secretarial / administrative support to an Executive
- Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail
- Maintains files, records, calendars and diaries; typically arranges extensive business travel, visas, coordinates meeting arrangements, and tracks expenses
- Participates in the development and implementation of secretarial / administrative
- standards, policies and practices for the organization
- Manages complex monthly reporting, dashboards, cost analysis, supports and / or leads functional / special project
What you’ll bring
- Bachelors degree
- Or 4+ years of experience in supporting Senior-level Executives
- Experience developing and internal processes and organization systems
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and MS Teams
- Concise and effective written and verbal communication
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all information, and exercise discretion when interfacing with others
- Large event and VIP visit planning experience
- Ability to work from the office or your home as business needs require
- A notary public license or willingness to obtain one.

Where you’ll be working
Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States.
We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, tellurium and sulfuric acid. Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich ore body of the Bingham Canyon Mine since 1903, and is one of the top producing mines in the world, comprising approximately 11 percent of annual copper production.
