NDT Technician Level II RT / MT / PT

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician Level II RT / MT / PT for a full-time position York, PA and New Kensington, PA

Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents :

High School Diploma / GED / Degree

Proof of classroom hours / Training in NDT

Previous level II certifications / OJT

Major Responsibilities / Activities

Set up and calibrate equipment

Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).

Interpret, evaluate and document

Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I

Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the

Work with minimal supervision

Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Obtain and analyze information

Edit and present numerical data effectively

Travel may be required (less than 20%)

Minimum Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent required.

NDT Technician Level II RT / MT / PT

Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).

Completion of an eighty (80) hour Radiation Safety Course (Level I & Level II. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).

Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for the following is required : MT / PT

Working Conditions

Field duties require outdoor work in a plant

Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and other personnel

Working in plant and / or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise

May be at more than one jobsite in a day and must be able to tolerate climate

May be required to travel out of town on a periodically

Essential Physical Functions

Must be physically fit and able to carry 50 lbs.

Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personnel
