Talent Masters is partnering with NationalAlliance for Drug Endangered Children a nonprofit dedicated tohelping child victims of substance abuse and its impact.
They areseeking a Director of Alliance Development to help them developmaintain and management both partnerships and grantprojects.
Primary Purpose &Responsibilities : The Director of AllianceDevelopment is responsible for overseeing and expanding NationalDECs partnerships and relationships at state tribal and locallevels.
This role focuses on cultivating and maintaining strategicalliances creatively developing new grant ideas based on thesepartnerships and ensuring the success of grantrelated projects.
TheDirector will supervise the relations manger grant writer andresearcher while also leading presentations and training asnecessary.
KeyResponsibilities :
Partnership Management &Development :
o Oversee thedevelopment management and expansion of National DECs state tribaland local partnerships.
o Cultivate and maintainstrong relationships with current and prospective partners ensuringalignment with the organizations mission and values.
o Identify and create new partnership opportunities thatalign with National DECs goals and priorities.
Grant Strategy & Oversight :
oDevelop creative ideas for new grants based on partnershipopportunities.
o Supervise the grant writer andresearcher ensuring effective and efficient use of their time andexpertise.
o Ensure grant deliverables are meton time and within scope coordinating with partners asneeded.
o ist in the development oforganizational budgets in relation to grants.
Presentations &Trainings :
o Lead presentations andrepresent National DEC in meetings conferences and other publicforums.
o Conduct trainings when needed thoughthis role will not directly supervise the training team.
Outreach &Communications :
o Collaborate onsocial media and communication strategies that align with NationalDECs goals and engage key stakeholders.
oContribute to enewsletter content and guide contract staff on thedevelopment of outreach materials.
Mission Alignment &Impact :
o Actively contribute torealizing the mission vision and values of National DEC.
o Ensure that partnerships and alliance developmentefforts make a substantial and positive difference in the lives ofdrug endangered children.
ProfessionalDevelopment & Organizational Support :
o Invest in personal and professional development stayinginformed about trends in grant writing alliance building and drugendangered children efforts.
o Support thebroader organizational efforts by isting in staff and volunteerorientation and contribute to a collaborative teamenvironment.
AdditionalResponsibilities :
o Perform any otherduties as required or reigned to meet the needs of theorganization.
Qualifications :
- At least 510 years of experience in nonprofitchild welfare law enforcement social work human services or arelated field.
- Proven experience in alliancedevelopment partnership management or businessdevelopment.
- Experience in grant researchidentification development submission and oversight of grantdeliverables.
- High level of creativity andinitiative in identifying new grant opportunities and strategicalliances.
- Experience in tradeshows publicspeaking and the ability to deliver thought provokingpresentations
- Strong project management ss witha track record of creatively developing new partnershipopportunities and initiatives.
- Supervisoryexperience.
- Excellent public speakingcommunication and relationshipbuildingss.
- Demonstrated ability to work inmultidisciplinary and interdisciplinaryenvironments.
- Familiarity with outreachmarketing and social media engagementstrategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (ExcelAccess Word PowerPoint) email systems and familiarity withdatabasedriven systems.
- Personal qualities : Strong networker and influencer pion for the mission dependabilityhonesty congeniality and adaptability to a dynamic work scheduleand multiple responsibilities.
