Position Overview : The Center for the Study of Services (CSS) / Consumers' Checkbook team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Washington, D.
C. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our social media presence, email communications, and digital advertising.
Salary Range : $59,000 to $69,000 based on experience and qualifications
Schedule : This is a hybrid position that is required to commute to our Washington, DC office 2 times per week. Our current required office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Our office is conveniently located by both the Farragut North and Farragut West metro stations. Our standard office hours are 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
- Understanding of audience segmentation, user behavior, and data-driven marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of HTML and content management systems like Wordpress.
- Video editing skills (preferred).
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms like HubSpot (preferred).
- Previous nonprofit experience (preferred).
