Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed School Social Worker for a full-time position in Waterford, MI. The selected candidate will support students in grades 7-12 with social work goals and skill development.
This role focuses on fostering student success through social-emotional interventions and assisting students in developing the necessary social skills to navigate school and personal challenges.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide social-emotional support and interventions for students in grades 7-12.
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement and monitor social work goals in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Facilitate small groups and individual sessions to support skill development.
- Address at-risk students' needs through targeted interventions.
- Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure student progress.
Qualifications :
- Masters Social Worker license.
- Must have a 310 letter (approval to work as a School Social Worker in Michigan).
