Job Title : Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler where you will engage in making sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components.
You will also assemble completed electro-mechanical units using sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts. Your role will include the assembly of printed circuit boards by inserting components in a through-hole fashion, utilizing specific work instructions and various hand and air tools.
Additionally, you will install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level and conduct electrical function tests at both the printed circuit board and final assembly levels.
Other duties may include packing and related tasks.
Hard Skills
- Ability to lift up to 26lb
- Experience with hand and air tools
- Ability to perform electrical function tests
Soft Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to stand at work station for 10 hours
Work Environment
This is a very fast-paced work environment where meeting deadlines is crucial. The basic production work area involves tight quarters where eye protection and protective shoes are mandatory.
No loose clothing is permitted.
