Position : Field Service Engineer

Location : United States, frequent national travel.
We are working for a growing provider of cutting-edge machinery solutions for the PCB & semiconductor sector in their search to grow their Service team.
The company are seeking dynamic Field Service Engineers to support their customer base across the US.
Responsibilities :
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of the company's machinery and equipment at global semiconductor sites across Germany.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Execute on-site installation and commissioning of Vacuum, plasma and sputtering machinery, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and client requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machinery to minimise downtime.
- Provide training to key users at client sites.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, equipment modifications, and customer communication.
- Build positive relationships with clients by ensuring exceptional service delivery. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Field Service Engineer working in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of sputtering, etching or vacuum equipment and applications.
- The preferable location would be the East Coast of America
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (80% of the time).
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Valid driver's license.
