Job Summary
As a Senior Team Leader in Visual Merchandising, you’ll be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the in-store visual activities to promote the sale of products and services.
You’ll bring your creativity and leadership abilities to combine products, environments, and spaces into stimulating and engaging displays.
Leaders are accountable for the operating performance of the assigned department(s) at all times. Be a Leader by representing the organization in a professional manner.
Promote and develop individuals with mutual respect, inclusion, diversity, and dignity. Coach Team Members regularly with timely feedback identify opportunities for development and coach for success.
Job Description
- Experience Required : 1 to 3 years
- Experience Desired : 1-3 years of management experience preferred within the marketing, merchandising, or retail industry.
- Education Desired : High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months to 3 years of additional training
- Lifting Requirement : Up to 25 pounds
- Travel Required : Regional - Daily, Less than 10%

- 9. Manage the budget for your department or location;
- 10. Manage inventory for your department or location;
11. Monitor or implement compliance measures.

- Maintain the inventory, fixtures, and props used throughout the store to ensure the safety of all Team Members, guests, and the quality of the displays.
- Research visual merchandising trends in the retail industry by visiting local competitors and searching Giant Eagle, Inc. online.
- Read trade magazines and blogs to stay competitive and provide up-to-date, fresh ideas.
- Analyze Guest and Team Member Point of View surveys with an eye for constantly improving service and scores.
- Construct compelling displays to stimulate top-line sales with merchandise, fixtures, and props in accordance with Company standards and methods to bring the 'Wow!' and create a magical experience for our guests.
- Walk the sales floor daily either alone, with the Graphic Artists, or other Leaders and look for opportunities to maximize the 'Wow!' factor.
- Prepare for our weekly merchandising meetings by gathering, organizing, and prioritizing all relevant information.
- Make innovative merchandising plans and suggestions to improve our business.
