Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our fine dining restaurant ARLO team within a prestigious hotel.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong leadership skills.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment and is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.

Pay Rate $66,560.00 #TowncountrySD

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Uphold the highest standards of service, ambiance, and quality, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
  • Supervise and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all supplies are available and meet the restaurant's standards.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back-of-house operations.
  • Assist in managing financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Support special events and private dining experiences, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the guest experience and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a fine dining restaurant, preferably within a hotel setting.
  • Strong understanding of fine dining service standards and high-end guest expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the restaurant.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems is an advantage.
  • A passion for food, wine, and exceptional service, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
