Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on all aspects of trust and estate planning, wealth transfer, and asset protection.
- Draft legal documents including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, insurance trusts, family limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.
- Manage probate and trust administration processes, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Assist clients with business succession planning, including buy / sell agreements and management succession.
- Act as a fiduciary, trustee, executor, or administrator for clients as required.
- Prepare and file estate and gift tax returns.
- Provide legal advice and support to beneficiaries.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Current Georgia State Bar license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust & Estate Planning Attorney.
- Proven experience in probate administration, wealth planning, asset protection, and trust administration.
- Extensive knowledge of wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable trusts, insurance trusts, family limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.
- Experience in business succession planning, including buy / sell agreements and management succession.
- Experience acting as a fiduciary, trustee, executor, or administrator.
- Proven ability to prepare and file estate and gift tax returns.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in relevant legal software and technology.
