Requirements for a Respiratory Therapist :
High School diploma or equivalent
Associates degree in field of Respiratory Therapy
Responsibilities for a Respiratory Therapist :
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician orders and department policies and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care to pediatric and adolescent residents with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
