We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Marine Technician to join our team at Azimut Benetti Americas. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge and hands-on experience in marine systems, including AC / DC electrical systems, hydraulics, propulsion, air conditioning, monitoring and navigation systems, fiberglass, structural components, and mechanical systems.
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of these complex systems on our yachts. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in all aspects of their work.

General Accountabilities
- Utilizes diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems.
- Performs preventive and routine maintenance on marine mechanical systems, including oil changes, filter replacements and coolant inspections to ensure smooth operation.
- Collaborates closely with project staff, including technicians, marinas, shipyards, vendors, subcontractors, and office personnel, to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Directly oversees subcontractors, providing guidance to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, while also actively engaging in technical tasks and utilizing tools as necessary.
- Perform hands-on repairs on products and projects managed, demonstrating expertise, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Confers with project subcontractors to provide technical advice and to resolve issues as they arise.
- Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, services, and parts inventory to facilitate efficient workflow and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements
- Associate degree, or technical degree.
- 5 years of proven experience as marine technician.
- Advanced technical knowledge of marine systems e.g. AC / DC electricity, hydraulics, propulsion, air conditioning, monitor and navigation system, fiberglass, structural and mechanics.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiar with repair and refit on vessels.
- Professional working proficiency of Spanish and Italian language.

Position Type
- Full Time.
- Non-Exempt.
- Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (60-minute break for lunch).
Weekend availability.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay : $33.65 - $38.46 per hour
- Paid time off : 6 sick days, 10 vacation days, 2 personal days and 7 holidays.
