Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Program Manager of Inclusion and Workforce Development, the Program Coordinator provides coordination, administrative, and logistical support to Workforce Development with a specific focus on student training programs.

This role supports DFCI’s efforts to introduce, expose and develop the next generation of healthcare professionals. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Support a comprehensive student training initiative including curriculum development and implementation, outreach and recruitment, and evaluation.

Implements and coordinates administrative procedures, processes, services and systems for the assigned program.Coordinates program correspondence, calendars, projects and travel arrangements as needed.

Integrate academic and career advising with current interns and alumni including resource sharing to ensure pipeline program participants success.

Coordinate alumni engagement through annual surveys, events, and facilitation of alumni planning committee meetings.Track and report program goals;

run reports to track measurable outcome. Compiles data; prepares, summarizes, and distributes regular and ad hoc reports.

Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition, Occupational Health Services, and OnboardingMaintains accurate records for compliance.

Participates in quality improvement projects.Collaborates with program leadership and team members to identify other program needs.

Recommends and implements modifications to improve effectiveness.Perform other related duties as needed.( Qualifications MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree required in education, psychology, counseling, social work or a related field required Three years or more experience in program development and management of youth and / or adult development programs.

Excellent program management skills and extensive program implementation experience, preferably programs that that increase career and educational opportunity.

A proven history of measurable results / outcomes in a complex environment.Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills required.

Experience working within diverse communities required.Experience working within a healthcare setting preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED : Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of Apricot Database strongly preferred.Understanding of both the written and unwritten workplace rules and the attitudes and behaviors that make for continuous employment and career advancement.

Superior organizational skills and the ability to interact with all levels throughout the institute.Excellent communication and customer service skills over the phone, in writing and in person.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written English with internal and external customers.Strong administrative and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and accurately.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

Flexibility in scheduling needed : some weekend and evening meeting and events are required.Bilingual English / Spanish a plus.
