Key Responsibilities in Procurement Coordination
As a Purchasing Coordinator , you'll ensure our supply chain operations are efficient and cost-effective. Your main responsibilities will include :
- Developing and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure high-quality supply of goods
- Monitoring inventory levels and preparing purchase orders
- Coordinating the delivery and distribution of products
- Analyzing market trends to forecast procurement needs
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager as needed
Qualifications for a Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in procurement or a similar role is a strong asset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
