What Your Day Will Look Like :

A Bridge PE for Consor will be coordinating the development of plans for a variety of bridges throughout the country. You will be working with exceptional mentors and leaders and learning to be a mentor and leader of junior design and CAD staff.

Locally, you will have the opportunity to be a key staff member of a potentially growing group. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in project management and business development.

What You'll Do :

  • Perform Structural / Bridge analysis and calculations
  • Prepare Structural / Bridge engineering plans, specs, estimates, and other supporting documents
  • Perform conceptual engineering studies
  • Provide preliminary engineering and final design
  • Mentor and develop less experienced staff
  • Report preparation
  • In the field in-service bridge inspection opportunities
  • Construction observation / contractor coordination

What You'll Need :

  • 4-8+ years Civil Engineering work-related experience in Bridge Design
  • Experience in Bridge Design
  • Steel Girder Design
  • BGS, PG super, RISA, Bridge Leap, MicroStation software knowledge
  • Professional Structural Engineer License required
