Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for General Ledger oversight, which includes payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and other general accounting duties as they relate to the operation.

Job Specific Competencies

• Provides procedures and internal controls necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services
• Issues timely and complete financial support analysis to various departments; and issues periodic reports to respective departments as well
• Analyzes and directs periodic physical inventories together with other statistical and routine reports and evaluation
• Support monthly and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Coordinates and adheres to policies, procedures, relationships, and activities within the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports to respective departments
• Participates in and helps the preparation for external audits and tax requirements
• Establishes and maintains good relational contacts with the parent company, partnering accounting firms, and financial institutions

Minimum Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
• General ledger journal entries, account reconciliation : minimum of 3 years;
• Manufacturing with inventory, Cost of Goods Sold experience
• Strong Mathematical and analytical skills
• Good control of verbal and written English;
• Ability to apply logical reasoning
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
