Summary :
Patient Access / Pre-Access Representatives facilitate awelcome and easy access to the facility and are responsible forestablishing an encounter for any patient who meets the guidelinesfor hospital service.
Patient Access / Pre-Access staff ensuresthat all data entry is accurate including demographic and financialinformation for each account.
Patient Access / Pre-Access hasnumerous procedural requirements including data elements, insuranceverification, authorization for services, collections for allpatient portions including prior balances and balancing of cash atshift end.
Patient Access / Pre-Access staff is responsible for thesuccessful financial outcome of all patient services. PatientAccess / Pre-Access communicate directly with patients andfamilies, physicians, nurses, insurance companies and third partypayers.
This position requires professional appearance, behavior,and good communication skills. Patient Access / Pre-Accessrepresentatives require dependability, flexibility, andteamwork.

B.Experience :
Up to five years’experience in hospital registration or a comparable positionpreferred.
