METAL FINISHING TECHNICIAN
Train as a Metal Finish / Electro Plating Technician in support of our processing department. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable in a small, industrial environment, can follow detailed instructions, and is excited about the opportunity to cross-train for multiple roles.
MAIN DUTIES :
- Learn and follow established operating procedures.
- Verify racking / wiring / masking of hardware as required.
- Perform cleaning and plating of hardware submitted for processing.
- Work with laboratory technicians to support plating bath maintenance.
- Assist with blueprint interpretations for accurate plating requirements.
- Support calibrations and maintenance of process equipment.
- Maintain chemical and hazardous materials inventory for processing.
- Accurately record process activity for quality review.
- Comply with and promote Safety and Quality programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- 2 year degree or equivalent work experience
- Handing of Chemical / Hazardous materials
- Math skills to calculate surface areas
- Technical skills handling and calibrating process equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and formulate repairs to various equipment.
- Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Must be vaccinated
