Were looking for a motivated and experienced Purchasing Clerk to join our team! Youll support our Supply Chain and Global Customer Service (GCS) departments in procuring parts and materials and assisting in organizing delivery logistics, including domestic and international shipments.

Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and operational support to Supply Chain and Global Customer Service departments in the areas of parts and materials procurement / purchasing and transport logistics.
- Gather information on potential vendors, including contact person, specifications of parts / materials offered, pricing, and other data.
- Interact with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing terms, product specifications, product availability, and optimize savings.
- Compile information and records to create purchase orders for materials and services.
- Keep track of the status of orders, requisitions, and contracts. Expedites delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements, or credit arrangements.
- Coordinates with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Contacts forwarders and freight companies to arrange or expedite deliveries, both domestic and international, ensuring required documentation is prepared.
- Set up and maintain a recordkeeping system for the purchasing department.
- Help track project purchasing and logistic expenses to control costs within approved budget.
- Help monitor inventory and assist as needed with inventory counts.
- Other duties as assigned by management to support business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or comparable work experience relevant to position.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in purchasing, logistics, and / or supply chain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments and cultures.
Working Conditions
- Standard work hours Monday through Friday, 8 hours each day.
- Some additional hours may be required to meet project needs.
- Less than 10% travel, dependent on company needs and may include international travel.
- Occasional visits to customer sites may be required, requiring employee to adhere to all applicable worksite behavior and safety rules and policies.
Salary is dependent on experience - annual base salary + benefits and annual performance bonus program.
