We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Enterprise Solutions Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the B2B SaaS MarTech landscape and a proven track record of helping sales teams win competitive deals.
As a Solutions Strategist, you will work closely with our salespeople to develop and execute strategies that position Braze as the preferred choice for potential clients.
You will also be responsible for taking these strategies and up level them for scalability across the field but also to allow Product, Marketing, Enablement, and Pricing to leverage these insights in their programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Competitive Analysis : Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitors' products, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
Identify key differentiators and areas where Braze can outshine the competition
- Deal Support : Collaborate with sales representatives on high-stakes deals, providing strategic insights, competitive intelligence, and tailored messaging to enhance our value proposition
- Sales Enablement : Develop and deliver training sessions, playbooks, and resources to equip the sales team with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively compete in the market
- Win / Loss Analysis : Analyze past deals to understand why we win or lose against competitors. Use these insights to refine our sales strategies and improve future outcomes
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on competitive positioning and to gather insights that can be leveraged in sales strategies
- Market Trends : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to anticipate competitive moves and adjust strategies accordingly
- Customer Insights : Engage with customers and prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.
Use this information to tailor competitive strategies and messaging
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in a competitive intelligence, sales strategy, sales engineering, product or similar role within the B2B SaaS industry, preferably in MarTech
- Proven track record of supporting sales teams in winning competitive deals
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
- Deep understanding of the B2B SaaS MarTech landscape and competitive dynamics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Preferable experience in tools like Klue, Highspot, Gong, etc
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $160,000 and $176,000 / yearwith an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between$200,000 and $220,000 / year (including bonus or commission).
Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
