Qualifications
- 6+ years of industry experience in data science with a BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or equivalent.
- Proficient in SQL, Hive, SparkSQL, and programming languages such as Python and / or R, Tableau, and familiarity with Databricks, AWS ecosystem of tools is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical techniques, supervised / unsupervised ML paradigms, and hands-on expertise in deep learning and NLP techniques.
- Experience in building end-to-end reusable data pipelines from data acquisition to model output delivery and insight generation.
- Skilled in identifying where data can most impact communicating findings and recommendations to partner teams and drive discussions.
- Quick learner and adaptable, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills and a proven ability to influence business leaders.
Responsibilities
- Support developing a comprehensive multi-year vision for customer profiling and monetization that aligns with the product strategy and data infrastructure, ensuring the timely delivery of MVPs for immediate business needs.
- Analyze extensive behavioral data to develop comprehensive customer profiles, identifying behaviors and needs through deterministic signals and probabilistic inferences.
Translate these insights into actionable recommendations that align with strategic business objectives.
- Utilize data mining, machine learning, and NLP techniques on our extensive SMB datasets to derive deep insights and drive impactful business solutions.
- Conduct hands-on data analysis and modeling, including ETL processes, data cleaning, and data preparation for modeling.
- Lead complex analytics requirements conversations on strategic projects, serving as a thought partner to stakeholders in scoping, prioritizing, and guiding key decisions.
- Build scalable data processes and robust data products by anticipating future business challenges and designing effective methodologies and solutions.
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and availability by strictly adhering to data stewardship principles and guidelines.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $180,500 - 244,000, Southern California $178,000 - 240,500.
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs .
