Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa

AmLaw 50 firm seeks a dynamic attorney with at least 6 years of litigation experience to join its Complex Litigation Construction Practice as Special Counsel in its Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa office .

This prestigious, full-time, non-partner track role demands expertise in managing multi-party construction defect litigation with a high level of autonomy .

Candidate Requirements :

Exceptional self-motivation and focus, paired with outstanding oratory, research, and writing skills .
Extensive courtroom or arbitration experience is required, including conducting discovery, drafting substantive dispositive motions, and substantial deposition work.
Some trial or evidentiary hearing experience is also necessary .
Foundational understanding of insurance risk transfer issues for property damage claims is essential. Superior organizational and time management skills are crucial.

Candidates must also :

Be in good standing, and an active member of the Florida Bar ;
Have a JD from an ABA accredited law school ;
Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar is preferred.
