This role plays a pivotal role in shaping our learning culture, empowering our workforce, driving organizational effectiveness, and propelling our Global Business Services (GBS) and Enterprise Transformation (ET) organization to achieve its ambitious goals.

The manager, learning and development (L&D), will lead a team of L&D professionals and will develop and execute the learning strategy for our organization, including the assessment, development and implementation of L&D programs and experiences that will build functional capability and meet business objectives.

As a manager, learning and development, you will

  • Create the learning framework and develop, implement, and sustain learning and development initiatives, for the GBS and ET organization.
  • Lead a team of L&D partners, setting strategic and operational goals for the team, managing execution, coaching and developing partners, and measuring results.
  • Evaluate and analyze feedback and key metrics to measure the effectiveness of L&D programs and processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally internally and benchmark externally to enable the creation and delivery of best-in-class learning programs and processes in line with business objectives.

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.

For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge / skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
