As the VP of Marketing, you will develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and growth for phData.

You will lead a team of marketing professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and delivery, to ensure consistent and impactful campaigns across all channels.

About you :

  • Consulting Experience : You are familiar with the consulting industry, including client management, project cycles, and service-based marketing.
  • Brand Development : You have experience developing and evolving brand identity, particularly in the tech or data sectors.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : You can work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and executive leadership, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Customer Obsessed : You have experience enhancing the customer journey and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Flexibility and Resilient : Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and pivot strategies as needed. Strong work ethic and determination to overcome challenges and achieve success.

Key Responsibilities :

Account-Based Marketing (Cross-selling - Customer Marketing) :

  • Develop and execute ABM strategies to drive growth within existing key accounts and foster deeper relationships.
  • Work closely with the sales and consulting teams to create personalized marketing plans for high-value accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within the current customer base, aligning marketing efforts with account expansion goals.
  • Utilize data and insights from key accounts to tailor campaigns, messaging, and content that address specific customer needs and challenges.
  • Measure and report on the impact of ABM initiatives, including customer retention, expansion, and revenue growth.

Demand Generation :

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and increase pipeline growth.
  • Oversee the creation of multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on generating demand, including digital advertising, content marketing, webinars, and events.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align demand generation efforts with sales objectives and ensure a seamless lead handoff process.
  • Leverage marketing automation and CRM tools to track, analyze, and optimize demand generation campaigns.
  • Continuously refine targeting, messaging, and campaign tactics based on performance data and industry trends.

Campaign Management :

  • Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social, PR, events, etc.).
  • Ensure that all campaigns are data-driven, measurable, and aligned with the brand strategy.

Brand Strategy Development :

  • Develop and implement a long-term brand strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, mission, and business objectives.
  • Define the brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging architecture to differentiate the company in the marketplace.

Content & Creative Direction :

  • Lead the development of compelling and consistent brand content, including storytelling, visual identity, and messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to produce high-quality marketing materials.

Market Research & Insights :

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform brand strategy and marketing initiatives.

Digital Marketing Leadership :

  • Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Ensure the company’s online presence reflects the brand’s values and resonates with the target audience.

Team Leadership & Development :

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support for professional development and career growth within the team.

Performance Measurement & Reporting :

  • Set KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly report on brand performance, campaign results, and ROI to the executive team.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience :

  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of success in the technology or consulting industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading brand strategy and executing high-impact marketing campaigns.

Skills :

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, as well as data analytics.
