Travel Automation Technician $150 Per Diem 45 / hour

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines.
• The ideal candidate will handle automation machine tool electrical maintenance, working on a variety of CNC equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and robotics.
• You will work with over 35 OEM machine brands and handle equipment such as P&H cranes / hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools.
• You will also be responsible for repairing CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon.

Key tasks include troubleshooting and repairing AC / DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems.

Must Haves

• Ability to troubleshoot PLC controls by going online and editing ladder logic
• Electrical troubleshooting through HMI-alter programs
• Controls experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc)
• AC / DC power experience
• Glass Scale Linear Encoder knowledge

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position
• Up to $45 an hour and $150 per diem
• $5,000 sign on bonus once direct
