The incumbent receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Verifies materials or merchandise against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Routes materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.
- Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Performs other related work as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory :
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- At least two (2) years of work experience in a warehouse environment encompassing traditional warehousing and material movement methodologies, i.
e. receiving, storage, issue, shipping, material handling and distribution.
- Demonstrate working experience in Microsoft Excel or computer warehouse management system.
- Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrate experience using material handling equipment.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
- Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and 75 pounds in a team lift.
