University Relations Recruiter

Recruiting :

• Manage lifecycle recruitment process for interns and entry level candidates.
• Assess hiring manager’s needs through intake meetings.
• Review / assess a high quantity of applications daily.
• Screen, interview, negotiate, and close with candidates.

University Engagement :

• Build talent pipelines by executing strategic partnerships with universities to attract diverse talent into the organization.
• Assist with university events and initiatives such as onsite events, resume reviews, informational sessions, tailgates, tech talks, networking mixers, etc.
• Travel to career fairs and coordinate logistics including registration, shipping, ordering branded swag, tracking inventory, etc.

Program Management :

• Develop key relationships with internal stakeholders to the University Relations Program.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, and exiting process for interns within the United States.
• Partner with social media team to promote and advertise the University Relations program on multiple channels.
• Partner with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team to incorporate University Relations into overall DEI strategy.
• Create annual strategy focused on US compensation model, timelines, structure, etc.
• Clearly communicate objectives, strategy, and mission of University Relations Program.
• Coordinate internship program events including, early engagement, networking events, training, and development, etc.
• Field first level internship employee questions about the program, training, policies, and procedures.
• Completed undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, Communication, or similar major.
• Previous experience with an ATS, Oracle preferred.
• Technically proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing a high volume of requisitions.
• Experience in relationship management internally.
• Knowledge of HR functional areas such as compensation, benefits, training, etc.
• Previous experience with University Relations / Recruitment preferred (0-2 years)
• Must be able to travel 15-20% out of the year, especially during peak career fair season.
