As a Store Maintenance Coordinator on our Store Planning Team, you'll have a critical role in supporting our retail stores by planning, coordinating, and implementing required maintenance.

You will also coordinate new store open issue completions while directing repairs for all store divisions.

Using your excellent customer service skills and your ability to develop and cultivate strong cross functional partnerships you will help support DXL's mission by :

  • Overseeing the "pass-thru" categories including contracts and the day-to-day operations of all store maintenance trades
  • Acting as a liaison with field and contractors to expedite and resolve store maintenance issues, answering phone calls, emails and messages, and non-emergency services during business hours
  • Assigning work orders based on emergency and non-emergency repairs
  • Communicating and negotiating with vendors and landlords regarding maintenance / construction issues
  • Reviewing, entering, and approving invoices

We're looking for someone with :

  • An Associate's Degree, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in store maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Office Trax 2.0 (preferred)
  • A construction background (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of blueprints
  • Basic knowledge in all areas of commercial maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, structural, glass, doors, plumbing, pest control, locksmith, flooring
