We are searching for a Director of Residential Sales to formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and market share targets, reporting performance regularly to Executive Team members.
The Director of Residential Sales will utilize Hunter Communications four strategic pillars (People, Process, Technology, and Financial Health) in a highly collaborative manner to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within approved expense budgets.

This role can be performed remotely within Oregon or based out of one of our local offices. Periodic travel throughout Oregon will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Effectively and continually evaluate overall sales strategy for assigned products and formulate executable plans to ensure the ongoing competitive advantage of Hunter Communications service offerings.
- Provide sales leadership to channel partners, inside and outside internal sales teams, and on-line sources of leads and sales.
- Demonstrate highest standards of cross function collaboration with all departments including but not limited to marketing, installation / maintenance, engineering, construction, finance, and IT.
- Be a mentor to your people.
- Provide recommendations for improving or adding product and service offerings.
- Establish and effectively communicate departmental strategy, initiatives, results, and deliverables to employees, leadership team, and the Hunter Communications Board of Directors
- Reporting of department KPIs, including lead conversion, sales data, cost per acquisition by channel, and customer information.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally as appropriate to ensure all stakeholders are included in the development and execution of the department strategies.
- Drive employee professional opportunity and growth within the Sales department through employee mentoring, coaching, and training opportunities.
- Regularly meet with team members to discuss performance, remove obstacles and help each achieve their goals.
- Responsible for maintaining a professional, safe, and secure work environment within the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' experience, including at least 3 years of experience as a sales leader within the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated relevant experience driving MDU and SFU revenues / market share in existing service and new build areas while managing to industry leading churn results
